Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of chromecityguideservicellc.com and your booking of guided fishing trips with Chrome City Guide Service LLC ("Chrome City," "we," "us"). By using the site, submitting the contact form, or booking a trip, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms are a draft for review. Chrome City recommends you read them carefully before booking.
Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, or interfere with site operation.
All content on this site, including text, photos, logos, and trip descriptions, is owned by Chrome City or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute site content without written permission.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Booking terms and conditions
Trip bookings are processed through FareHarbor. When you complete a booking, you enter into a direct agreement with Chrome City for guide services subject to these booking terms and any policies displayed at checkout.
Cancellation and deposits
A deposit may be required at booking to hold your date. The deposit amount and balance due date are shown in FareHarbor at checkout.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before your scheduled trip date may receive a full refund of amounts paid, minus non-refundable processing fees charged by our booking provider.
Cancellations made 14 days or fewer before your trip date forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the trip start time forfeit all amounts paid unless we can rebook the date.
No-shows forfeit all amounts paid. Reschedules are subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee.
Weather and river conditions
Fishing on Pacific Northwest rivers depends on weather, water levels, and fish runs. Chrome City reserves the right to cancel, shorten, or relocate a trip when conditions are unsafe or unlikely to produce a quality experience.
If we cancel for weather or river conditions, you may reschedule to an available date within the same season or receive a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled trip.
If you choose not to fish due to personal preference when conditions are safe and fishable, standard cancellation terms apply.
Limit of liability and assumption of risk
Guided fishing involves inherent risks including slippery surfaces, cold water, hooks, wildlife, and travel by boat or vehicle. By participating, you assume these risks.
To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, Chrome City and its guides, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your trip or use of the site.
Our total liability for any claim related to a booked trip is limited to the amount you paid for that trip. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Washington law.
Washington recreational activity providers may be subject to RCW 4.24.210 and related statutes. You acknowledge that certain risks are inherent in outdoor recreation.
Group conduct and licensing
All anglers age 15 and older must carry a valid Washington State recreational fishing license and any required endorsements (including Columbia River Basin Endorsement where applicable). It is your responsibility to obtain licenses before your trip.
Illegal drugs, excessive alcohol, and unsafe behavior are not permitted on trips. Chrome City may end a trip early without refund if a guest's conduct endangers others or violates law.
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Inform us of any mobility or health concerns when booking so we can advise on suitability.
Gratuities
Gratuities for your guide are appreciated but never required. If you choose to tip, cash or electronic payment instructions will be provided by your guide.
Photo and video release
Chrome City may photograph or record trips for marketing, social media, and website use. By default, booking a trip includes permission to use images that include you in Chrome City promotional materials without additional compensation.
To opt out of photo or video use featuring you or your party, email info@chromecityguideservicellc.com before your trip or notify your guide at the start of the trip.
