What we target
Spring Chinook — April & May
Spring Chinook — springers — are the most prized salmon in Southwest Washington. We fish the Cowlitz, Kalama, and Lewis with back-trolling, side-drifting, and bobber fishing depending on conditions. Book early — peak weeks fill fast.
Fall Coho — October through December
Coho salmon hit hard and fight acrobatically. We target them on all five rivers with spinners, bobber fishing, and twitching jigs. Fall coho trips are action-packed and family-friendly.
Where we fish salmon
Kalama River
A classic Southwest Washington steelhead and salmon river flowing through old-growth forest just minutes from Kalama. Known for winter steelhead, spring Chinook, and fall coho.
Cowlitz River
One of the most productive salmon and steelhead rivers in the Pacific Northwest. The Cowlitz delivers spring Chinook, summer steelhead, fall coho, and winter steelhead through the season.
Lewis River
The Lewis River system — especially the North Fork — produces quality coho, spring Chinook, and steelhead in a scenic Cascade foothills setting below Mount Adams.
Elochoman River
A intimate Southwest Washington tributary known for winter steelhead and fall coho. Smaller water, fewer boats, and some of the hardest-fighting fish in the region.
